PIT BAND BIRMINGHAM
MUSICIANS FIRST MUSICAL THEATRE
amateur musical theatre for musicians
Pit Band Birmngham aims to provide a space for amateur musicians and musical theatre enthusiasts to have the opportunity to learn musical theatre scores and play them in concerts. For each concert we pick a musical and then learn all the big hits from that show, we then bring in singers for the concert to provide a whistle-stop tour of the chosen musical.
Our first concert will be on March 20th 2027 at Sutton Coldfield Methodist Church. We will be playing the music of Guys and Dolls. If you would like to be a part of this concert, rehearsals begin January 2027, for details on rehearsals, click the button below.
Our concerts are not full musical productions. They consist of the Pit Band Birmingham musicians playing highlights from a musical alongside singers.
